We helped South Ribble Borough Council to develop a robust strategy to support their digital transformation ambitions.
The Client:
South Ribble Borough Council
The Challenge:
South Ribble Borough Council’s (SRBC) 300+ colleagues provide a wide range of services to over 110,000 people in the South Ribble area of Central Lancashire.
SRBC set TechAlign the challenge of developing and overseeing the delivery of a clear digital transformation strategy aligned to the council’s corporate plan objectives.
The Solution:
TechAlign directly consulted with councillors and council officers of all levels to uncover their current perceptions and ideas for the future. This was coupled with the steering of external customer engagement to gain input from those directly affected by any potential change/expansion of digital service delivery.
A full current state analysis was also performed to gauge the starting point – before carrying out a detailed gap analysis to assess areas where change was required.
This led to the development of an in-depth IT and Digital Transformation Strategy and roadmap. This identified many strategic initiatives and tangible projects to get the council to where its people and its customers wanted it to be.
